THE CAMERAS ARE ROLLING AT EMPIRE CITY CASINO TO CELEBRATE UPCOMING 4TH ANNUAL YONKERS FILM FESTIVAL

The lights and cameras may not start rolling on the Yonkers Film Festival (YoFiFest) until October, but the action begins at Empire City Casino this Friday night at 7 p.m. with a special kick-off party to announce the 100+ films selected for this year’s festival among thousands of submissions, including from local filmmakers.

In addition, Empire City Casino is also concurrently hosting a private film and television industry event with a “director’s cut” private tour of its facility to encourage and promote filming at its facility and to support the significant increase in filming in New York State as a result of the continually increasing film tax credits being offered. Industry insiders and aspiring filmmakers will also be able to enjoy a night out at the casino with complementary food and drinks, endless entertainment and the ability to scout the property out for themselves.
