Empire City joins Feeding Westchester’s annual campaign to raise awareness surrounding hunger in Yonkers, Westchester, and New York State

YONKERS, NY – In an effort to support a local movement to raise awareness for hunger in Westchester County, Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts is once again joining forces with Feeding Westchester for their annual campaign for Hunger Action Month this September. With September 12 designated as Hunger Action Day, a day set aside during Hunger Action Month to inspire communities to take action and help those who may not know where their next meal will come from, Empire City Casino will light its iconic porte-cochère entrance and exterior building lights orange to raise awareness of the nearly 50-million Americans impacted by the issue of food insecurity. As one of the largest entertainment destinations in the Northeast, Empire City Casino is honored to join the nationwide network of organizations in the fight against hunger.
